Dog Poem

So, I posted this on dA a while ago, but I think it's fitting for a dog site to post dog poetry, right? :3 It's for pit bulls, or any misunderstood breed, really. ------------------------ We're All the Same I am bulky rough large in form imperfect insecure beaten down I am a fighter a prisoner a hopeless cause but can't I be a lover a friend a soft soul? a companion a guardian your child's protection? a piece of justice a heart of gold a mind of steel? can't I be like the rest - a canine to love, a friend to hug, a demonstration of good deeds? can't I be a miracle a joy, a puppy to please? am I not made of four legs, a tail, and soft fur? am I not made of dedication, trust and courage for you? I am a canine - bulky, soft, loving and true.
