Romance noveellss- Poll
Do you like romance novels? Or fics? Do you prefer a plot? Or do you just want the sex?
I honestly don't read novels, but prefer fanfics, but they need to have plots. Hence why I can't imagine reading 50 shades. I have a problem reading romance novels where the woman is always beautiful no matter what she does, and the guy is nice and toned.
I also prefer guy on guy, but girl and guy is sometimes readable for me.
And I don't like too much detail. Like, you can write about what's going on, but please, if I can visualize it to a T, you've gone too far. xD
Any opinions? :)

Theres a few Romance Novrls Series I do enjoy :) if you like Hot guys banishred with Denons inside them Lords Of the Underworlds is a really good series. Also Black Dagger Brotherhood is another good one :D. Theres another but i can't tjink of the series names... I know the books we like, Noah. another was Gideon. Anyways. XD I read a lot of fanfiction as well :)

I like to read material that challenges my views and opinions and stirs my curiosity about the world. Romance/smut books do nothing for me.

I personally can't stand any sort of cheesy and hastily written romance novel that you may pick up at the queue in the grocery store. I prefer to look into the best novelists in the area and "do my homework" before I just randomly pick out another book. I love novels that have witty comedy in it with some well written ( not sloppy) romance threaded within the pages ever so often. I heartily enjoy reading novels written by John Green ( looking for Alaska, The fault in our stars) and Stephanie Perkins ( Anna and the French Kiss). They all have an amazing and well thought out plot, clever and sharp comedy, and some well written romance parts in between. This way, to me, the novel is more enjoyable and I have a chance to savor every page I read.

I may sound like a weirdo... but I personally just like the sex part. I like the girl on guy, but I love guy on guy. I really love detail, that's the best kind of stories to me. Detail detail detail, love it. Of course I like a plot, just like everyone. But I just hateee stories that lag on and on and on...
