Dynamic Breeding
Started By
First, I would like to start off by saying that I just woke up [thought of this idea when I woke up actually] and that some things may not be worded correctly and whatnot. Soo yeah

My idea is for there to be more dynamic breeding. What do I mean by this? I mean that I believe it would be cool to have hereditary disorders/diseases that are specific to each breed and they can be passed down from generation to generation.
I think that each dog should have a little area in their page that states what disorder/disease and what chance the pups have of getting that. [Though it would have to start off as random to start with]

Disorders/Diseases I would be talking about could be...
American Pit Bull Terrier [I had to use Am.Staff because the AKC has their panties in a twist about the name "Pit Bull"]: Hip Dysplasia, allergies, heart disease and [not mentioned in the link] dog-aggressiveness.
There are lots more you can find on other sites but that was a quick search.

Anyways, once there is a list of all the hereditary disorders, they would show up in the dog's profile like seen here: [LINK]
This dog has 25 ancestors in his lineage, therefore all stats are out of 25. With a dog who has a long lineage, their chance of getting a disease would be out of how many ancestors they have and the further back a diseased dog is in lineage [maybe like.. great-grandparents and back] there is 0 chance of passing on the disease. Although the dog in my example has some diseases as 5/25 and etc, that does not mean that he has them, but that he has a chance at passing them down to his kids because his ancestors had them. Dogs who have no ancestors with diseases/disorders will have "None" beside the disease and dogs who have diseases will have them named under the stats.
Maybe customs could be immune to these diseases? Though their offspring, if bred with a non-custom would put them at risk of passing down disorders/diseases.

Dogs with diseases/disorders may not be able to do things like go trialing, because it would be absolutely ridiculous to bring a dog with hip dysplasia out for a trial run, or a dog who is severely dog-aggressive.
Maybe some of these diseases/disorders/illnesses could be cured or treated, like dog-aggressive and allergies as examples.

I think this may cut down on reckless breeding and may even make custom dogs more valuable. It would also make the breeding aspect of the game a bit more realistic instead of "shove male dog with female dog and pappies are borned"

Do you support? Any suggestions?

Totally support! It would make the genetics factor of the game a lot more realistic and it would also educate people about responsible breeding. :>
