showing TP in dogs names
Started By
Like if you look in my kennel you'll see that all of my dogs have there TP after their name. I like it when people do that so I can easily size up my trail dogs. Its nice to know if your throwing a 1k TP dog in with two 5k TP dogs and a capped dog (8,999TP). Just so you know your odds of winnings.

Do you have different or same ideas? Just wanna know how other people feel.

I play another site, FooPets, where I do the same thing (except what is similar to “TP” there is actually called “stats”). It’s much more convenient for everyone when you know exactly what is on the next page.

I only bother to check the other dogs TP is if there is 3 or 4 dogs already in the trail. Just so I know I'm not sticking 2, 2k TP dogs in with 3 capped monsters. Which has happed before with me...I throw a 1.3k and 1.5k TP dogs in with one capped sheltie and two corgis with10k TP o.O' oops.

I personally don't put my dogs' TP in their names. I am just too lazy to go add it all up since where it is at the top of the dogs' page is inaccurate. <br /> <br /> However, I dislike it when people try to be sneaky and go lying in their dogs' name about the TP. &lt;_&lt; I feel that should be against the rules as false advertising though I understand it would be nearly impossible to enforce if it were. >_>

Hah! I noticed the "this dog is 6k now okay" dogs. It's a shame I'm not falling for it anymore lol<br /> (A shame for them)<br /> 6k dogs running in dogs who are majority ~9000 isn't realistic either<br /> <br /> All of my capped dogs have a copyright symbol in their usernames (really just for my convenience but whatever). I find tricking people by lying about dog TP is sneaky.

I made the thread about a slot for TP.<br /> <a href="http://www.alacritysim.com/forums.php?boardid=11043&category=Suggest Something!">This is the thread</a><br /> Go and support please!

"Who falls for a 300TP dog running in Otis? ahha"<br /> <br /> No one :P So now people are putting their dogs in the 5k range in the name instead because that's more realistic. Must have been reading this thread xD<br /> <br /> But yeah, the idea of TP automatically being listed would definitely be nice. I mean, people are going to check the TP regardless aside from if they fall for that trick and just read the names :( I put my dogs' real TP in their names, but, then again I don't feel I need to trick people to succeed.

I would support that, Ev :)

<i>And I would like having a slot for the dogs TP too. is that in the sujust forms?</i><br /> <br /> I do not believe it is. Feel free to make such a suggestion there if you like :>

-umm I think my computer freaked out and I pushed the 'Report Reply' button. Sorry-<br /> <br /> And I would like having a slot for the dogs TP too. is that in the sujust forms?

I love to put the true TP of my dogs in the name, I feel it is only a fair warning to other people wanting to enter trials against my dogs. Some of them are over the cap, but it doesn't show on the tp at the top of the dog's page :)<br /> <br /> However, I too have noticed that some people are trying to pass monsters & capped dogs TP as down in the hundreds. I'm starting to think it would just be better if on trials there was slot that listed the true TP, just like the top dawgs list has. I think that would just be the best solution for all of that, and let people with slow net have a fast way to view the TP of a dog :>

now that would suck for me or anybody, sence my highest trail dog is 5k TP but its in Odie.

06-12-2012 at 12:38 PM
like if I were to enter my capped dog into a trial and put (TP: 314.00) in it's name.

06-12-2012 at 10:35 AM
how do people lie about the dogs TP? like do they put a higher TP or lower TP then the dog actually has?

06-12-2012 at 10:21 AM
For my own convenience, I put TP in my dogs' names. It helps me know which dogs to enter in what trial so I will earn a profit. And I appreciate that some individuals will do the same, but there have been people stating false TPs in names, so I often double-check anyways. Mistakes are one thing, doing it to trick users is something different :/

ahahahaha I'm starting to notice the people lying about their dog's TP in the dog's name. That don't fool me though and it doesn't get em anywhere still because my dog continues to mow theirs down lol<br /> I guess that's where trickery gets ya<br /> <br /> Who falls for a 300TP dog running in Otis? ahha

I would call my internet as slow as a snail but that would be an insult to the snail. -_- so many problems with my labtop havin virus' and what not I get this really annoying white half screen pop up saying connection fail but the other half of my screen works fine. and the only way to get it to go away is to exit e-net and reopen. Very nerv racking.

I can do it in a matter of seconds.
