Hey everyone!
Alacrity 101 is not currently active & hasn't been for some time.
We apologise for the confusion this has caused, and that it was still being referred to in the welcome scribbles! We do hope that it will be up and running again in the future, and there will be an update when the programme becomes available again.

However, many of the questions that have been posted on this thread have nothing to do with the Ala 101 programme, but instead are referring to basic gameplay on Alacrity.
Please, if you have any questions or concerns about playing Alacrity, or are running into any difficulties -- whether it's not knowing how to do something, or just feeling like things aren't available when they should be -- please use the Issue Hub to contact a Helper!

Helpers are a special team of staff members whose job it is to assist players on Alacrity, and they will be happy to answer any questions you may have, and help make sure you have an enjoyable experience here. :)

Hi All!

We've recently run Alacrity 101 our new player game for about a month and a half, but we'd like some user feedback for the next week/week and a half before we start up again in November.

What we'd like to know is how we can improve Alacrity 101.

For Everyone:
How can we get more new players to "play" it?

If you're a New Player since September 15th:
Did you play Alacrity 101? If you did, what did you think about it? Have any suggestions for it? If you didn't, why didn't you? What would have made you play it?

For Our Older Players:
How can we get your help in promoting Alacrity 101?

Give us your input, and staff will constantly check this page for people to attack!

It would be nice if when people had to enter information in order to look at dogs that are for sale in auction that people could enter a price range of dogs that they would be able to view when buying in the auction.

Well it's down right now but when it was running, there were news posts, links posted on every new account that signed up, and we had links in the hold a contest section. There was also information on the account itself. Is there a way you think we could reach more players that we aren't currently doing? =) I think you are right though that people had a hard time finding it or seeing it was going on.

Truffles, that's not really on topic =). If theres a way the site can improve itself, there is a suggestion forum where you can offer ideas up. If you have ideas relating to the Alacrity 101 program, it'd be good to mention it here =) Frosty, do you mean a referral banner of sorts? Can you elaborate a little? =) Thank you to anyone that has taken the time to offer up some ideas. It's really appreciated. =)

Promoting alacrity 101: Maybe users could have a banner, and after so many people join a quiz through that banner they could get a small reward.

Maybe if they stay with the game for a month (31 days) they get a small cash award, or a bone. That would be nice :)

I think you should offera bone package for new players, say like 5 bones if they the new players stay with this game for a moth.

I've never considered Mobile issues as I play from my laptop, definitely something to consider.

Maybe make it less like an oral test but make it a form where right answers get you little extras, like food for your dogs.
