We're aware of the issues that have been going on with the chat and dog images over the last three days. So far as we can tell right now, the issues are on the server's end of things, not ours. Please be patient! This is affecting everyone, including members of staff.
That's a great idea but not something we can do. We don't even have access to the server at this point -- and to be honest, I'm not sure if it would be possible for us to do that even if we did have access to the server.
As a reminder, the staff running this site -- admins included -- do not own it. We contacted the owner about the issues some time ago, and coders were supposed to be working on the problem.
I see errors saying the picture files aren't valid. I can't see my puppies at all. Seems that someone should stop all puppies aging until this is fixed, because we can't play properly without seeing the pictures. Either that or issue temporary kennel slots to people until the issue is fixed so we can hold them until we see them. This wouldn't even be a problem if we could individually lock dogs, though.
I'm trying out this new thing with the main shops. I've added 500 and 1,000 options to the shop dropdowns. This doesn't do that much for most items, but it will allow you to, say, buy a few thousand cans of food at a go without refreshing a hundred times.
We'll see how this works and if it's good and nothing bad happens we'll keep it.
If you have trouble with the higher options at peak hours or something, please report it to the hub so I can keep track of what's going on.
When you submit an issue, please ensure it is COMPLETE and ACCURATE. If you're reporting a bug in your dog, you need to include the dog's ID #. If you're reporting a user, again, you need to tell us who it is and why you're reporting them in the issue when you submit it.
Remember that the staff member receiving your report is new to the situation - you need to catch him up on what's going on.
Thanks guys, and I hope you're enjoying your new years! ~Kit
