Oh my goodness! Can you believe that it's the end of August already?

Tonight marks the end of August and the end of our Norse Mythology Monthly Theme. You have a mere handful of hours to get your Norse purchases in before these items disappear. Make sure to mosey on over to the Monthly Shop to snag everything that you may want.

I know most of you are dying to know what we have planned for September. I'm comfortable in telling you that September is going to be in the theme of Pirates, yarr!

We have some new and fun things planned, so please keep your eyes peeled for the news post about the new monthly items tomorrow. Donation items will also change out either late tonight or early tomorrow.


As an interesting aside, did y'all know that tonight is a Blue Moon? This means that we're having a second full moon this month! A blue moon only happens about once every 2.7 years and will not happen again until July, 2015. If you can, take a step outside tonight and appreciate the beautiful moon. Neil Armstrong, an American hero and one of the first men to walk on the moon, passed away only 6 days ago; his family asks that you think of this brave man when you gaze upon our heavenly neighbor.

I am to be the unfortunate candidate to announce that the fish oil is currently under a bit of construction with a hopeful ETA fix of "very soon," being there will already be a great deal of movement behind the scenes getting next month's items out.

I would advise against using the item until we can get it sorted. If you do use it anyway, it should be fine as it will not deduct the use, it just won't give you anything either.

The item limit was still being bypassed by using the "feed all" option available to upgraded users. The current fish oil script could benefit from being re-written completely since it started with the structural integrity of strawberry wafers that didn't agree with Alacrity's current food system.

I apologise for the inconvenience, as I understand there has been a great emotional roller coaster concerning the item; but I trust everyone has hopefully had a bit of fun and were able to let their hair down briefly before order was restored.

Until then, thank you for your patience and I hope you all are looking forward to the upcoming monthly items, courtesy of our ever hardworking art team.

I just wanted to pop in and let you all know that there is a new limit on using Fish Oil. For those of you who didn't know, Fish Oil is a new food item you can give to your dogs which will have these effects: +5 mood, +10 energy, +10 health. It is priced at a paltry $350 over in Gnashers, found in the Main Shops!


Because Fish Oil gives incredible stat boosts to the dogs you feed it to with no side effects, we have imposed a 3-times-per-day Fish Oil limit, much like the grooming supplies, but with its own limit. Too much Fish Oil would give your real life dogs severe liver disease and we wouldn't want that, eh?

If you purchased Fish Oil and are upset about this change, please feel free to post an issue in the Moderator Issue Hub about a refund. We will refund the $350 purchase price only for full bottles (20/20 uses). Please specify how many bottles you would like to return. These bottles will be removed from your inventory before we offer a refund.
