Major bug with the auctions found and fixed: it wasn't taking money away when you bid, so hypothetically you could just spend all your money then when it came time to win the auction, you'd go negative.

-cringe- Now good news before bad: auction outbid alerts have been setup, and even a page to see all your bids and whether you're the highest bidder or not on each auction! If you are outbid, you receive your money back instantaneously.

Bad news: I had to delete all auctions and bids to fully fix the problem. All items have been returned to your inventory and dogs are available for auction again. Please don't hurt me. D=

Almost all the bugs on the bug board have been fixed, and I had planned to finish breeding tonight, until I realized the enormity of the auction bug. Will definitely have it finished tomorrow, along with hopefully a custom script and tons of features suggested by you all on the suggestions board. :D

Duckies disappear tonight at midnight, never to be seen again!

Good news for the basic players of Alacrity! Basic accounts now start with 5 dog slots, which means they can own 5 dogs! All players have been given 3 extra dog slots to compensate for the change. Also, on the kennel page, for both account types, you can purchase up to 10 extra dog slots for Alacrity dollars. With this in minds, basics can own up to 15 dogs! Upgrades still earn 3 dog slots per year upgrade and can now unlock 3 extra slots purchasable via the kennel page, and 1 dog slot per two month upgrade and 1 purchasable via the kennel page.

Happy Easter as well! Floating around the site are ducks looking for doggy friends! Rumor has it there are even families of ducks looking for dog pals! Every account gets one random duckling via the news page, and the random events will only occur today, the day of Easter, and until midnight the day after Easter! Hurry and find them all, they will NOT be re-released. These companions increase the mood of your dog slightly ever 30 minutes you've been logged in. Each dog can have one companion, you can read more about them in the FAQ.

As a note to everyone, there are only 4 dog breeds released at this point in time: Jack Russell Terriers, Border Collies, Pembroke Welsh Corgis, and Papillons. The art for the other breeds is underway and will be released every 2 weeks or so.

If you have any questions whatsoever, message a moderator (they have icons to identify themselves!) after reading through the help pages if you still cannot figure something out. Another good resource is the help forums, because hundreds of people have probably already asked the question you're about to. ;)
