Houses
I am getting to the age where it is getting close to the time to move out. My mom says I could probably get a small house cheaper than getting an apartment and paying rent.
For those of you with houses, condos, apartments any tips? Any certain things I need to make sure of and parts of the process? I'm quite lost as to what I need to do for this.
Everyone always has such different opinions and tips that I thought I would ask on here for advice and anything anyone could offer =)

Talk to a real estate agent, they're GREAT at finding just what you're looking for and they don't charge the buyer anything, they get a piece of the selling money when the house sells.

I hope so! I am so lost and confused with what I need to do, what I should look for, how to do things, etc. I wouldn't be hard looking until August-October but it is good to plan ahead and get things in order. I already found a place that's small and looks like it'd be good but who knows if it will still be listed by then xD. <br /> <br /> Also, I would be having a housemate. Shay is planning to come and live with me. Least that's what she said last I talked to her xD

A really good person to ask would probably be Ras. If I recall correctly, she's a landlord or somethin? She would probably be able to give some good advice.
