I would not. There are approximately 9.6 million dogs in shelters that need homes. Why add to that figure? For every puppy your dog (or, in this instance bitch) has, that's one pup that will be euthanized. So no, I am against breeding.

No, breeding goes against everything I believe in. I never understand what the big deal is about purebred dogs, showing, and all that. If you really want to show your dog why does it have to be purebred and/or bred just for that? Sure I had a few purebred dogs growing up, my grandma loved toy poodles, and they were great dogs but they were no more special then any of the mutts I had either. Since I am into rescuing, I'm trying to become an animal cruelty investigator, my motto is adopt don't shop. If you really want a purebred there are so many rescues for just about every breed out there anyways. Here's a little statistic: only 1 out of 10 dogs born in the US alone will ever find their permanent home; so I just can never support breeders or people who don't spay and nueter their pets (unless there is a health reason like allergies to medication)until that statistic is 10 out of 10 dogs will find their permanent home. It's hard for me to say, but no. My little chihuahua doesn't get along well with other dogs, and I'm thinking of getting her spayed anyhow. <br /> I also don't think I would be able to deal with a litter of puppies, and would worry if they were okay, like Talon, once they left. <br />

Everyones responces has been interesting. I understand about the puppy mill thing. As you read above, my dog is also a puppy mill dog. I also exspect hes not pure (but pureness doesnt matter to me when it comes to dogs). I think he would have adorable pups none of the less. My answer still remains no way XD.

No. My one dog has health problems like a thyroid issue and almost went blind but we caught it early enough to save some vision. I have a feeling she is a mill puppy so she has no good genes to pass and honestly I don't think she would make the best puppies..<br /> <br /> For my other dog.. -maybe- but probably no. She listens very well and is very adorable. She's been in top shape so far. I say maybe because I don't want to have to deal with a possible large litter and I'm not sure I'd even want another dog. ^^;;

No, since my dog's neutered, so that would be difficult to achieve. xD

Yes, if I had the money and ability to keep all the puppies I would. But I personally just am not the type of person who could breed and give puppies or any animal away because I would always wonder where they are if they are well ect. ect.

Maybe if I were breeding them for a purpose like IPO or something like that, and I knew the lineages and pedigrees.
