The Ancient Howl

Dozens of domestic dogs around the world were lead to an enchanted cave by mysterious instinct. These dogs were big and small, dull and multicolored, friendly and shy, and dominant and submissive. Yet, despite their differences they all calmly circled around a sparkling pool in the center of the cave. Something unexplainable whispered to every single one of them to start lapping up the glittering liquid they had surrounded. A brief trance took over these canines, but soon enough they were all fully conscious and aware of their current inner change and destiny. They had all been granted the ability to heal the wound of any creature they touch with their paw and howl.
The dogs soon departed out of the cave, but were somehow all united in the same old rundown town eventually. Some were still arriving, and some had lived there for about a year now. Either way, this town's humans desperately needed these dogs, despite the fact these humans should never know of these dogs' powers.
The humans were having a war, and many of the injured soldiers were brought here because they were too broke to afford any other place to stay. The dogs were meant to heal the humans, but if any human were to find out about these dogs' powers all magic would be in jeopardy. The dogs meet in alleys and parks occasionally to discuss strategies, but they must never let their guard down.

RULES:
-All Ala and Advanced RP rules apply
-Only one character per person (please don't make one character for each account)
-Only Pebo can play humans. You may play other animals as long as they are doing natural things and don't become an important part of the plot.
-Do not start RPing until your character is accepted
-No breeding or killing for now

-The magic is limited. It only works if something inside the body has been torn, ripped or shredded. It will not erase a tummy ache or cancer.

(I changed Rain's personality, so you may want to look at at ;D. I'm also editing the rules) Rain could sense Benji's conflicting emotions, and it made her feel nervous. Now a few yards away from him, she laid down and started gnawing on the chicken she had laid on her paws. She coughed a few times, for the burnt skin was hard for her to chow down. She kept attempting to rip the skin, but every time she tried the black layer covering it got the best of her gag reflex. She stood up and backed away from the chicken and kept gagging. She was attempting to throw up, but nothing would come out. Her stomach was spinning in circles and her mouth tasting like old smoke. She looked at Benji. Her body language told him "Back off" but her eyes begged for his help and mercy. Finally, Rain convinced herself to throw up. Her vomit was pitch black, and tasted even worse than the burnt chicken itself, but at least it was out of her system. She sighed with relief and embarrassment, hoping Benji wouldn't make a big deal out of it.

"I'm not trying to win you over, I'm just... just..."Benji stopped as the sun hit her. His eyes widened and glinted in the sun, he shook his head slightly and continued, "I can smell hunger on you." He ate his bread when he noticed she found her own chicken and watched her, making sure she didn't leave his sight. He didn't know what the fluttery feeling in his stomach was but he figured he had just eaten too fast. He laid his head on his paws, the turkey by his head. -I'll save it for later.- he thought, -For when we... or I get hungry again.- he planned on staying with Rain but he felt like he would be a burden. He felt his tail start to wag at the thought of staying with Rain, but he stopped it.

(XD LOL) Rain looked up at him calmly, the candy necklace hanging from her jaws. The way the sunlight captured her image that very second was just stunning. She looked gentle, graceful, and most of all: lovable. The sun quickly hid behind a tree, ending the time stopping moment abruptly. "You're trying to win me over with food?" she looked directly into Benji's eyes. "Keep it." She licked her nose and went sniffing through her own trash again. She uncovered an entire burnt chicken carcass and licked her chops. She grabbed the deceased chicken by a wing and started to silently drag it away into the sunset.

Benji stood up and shook his coat. He wasn't a pup, and he wouldn't leave. He wanted friends. Benji knocked over a green can and what he found there surprised him even. How wasteful these humans were! If front of him, he saw and half-eaten loaf of bread; it had a little mold but he didn't mind, and a barely-touched turkey carcass. He dragged both of them to Rain and asked, "Share with me?" he ddin't really know what else to say, and he sure didn't know what to say to a pretty female like her. (I tend to write books in my posts now a days! XD Just cause I can now! LOL!)

Rain stood there and faced Benji. Her body language was stiff and her hackles were up high. Carefully, she sniffed his mouth for her greeting. "You were quick to throw your name," she snorted and automatically shouldered him, "but I don't fetch." Proud of her comeback, she turned away from Benji and went sniffing through the cans again. Rain tried very hard to pretend Benji wasn't there, so that he'd eventually walk away. That method worked with puppies, at least. An old candy necklace caught her attention and she got to work munching it.

Benji looked around. His nose twitched as he caught scent of another dog. He sniffed the air harder to try and track Rain down. He finally found her near the garbage but he stayed out of sight, afraid that she would attack. Slowly, he crept out of the shrubs and put his head low to the ground. He smelled food on her and his stomach burned. After moments of agonizing silence, Benji finally worked up the courage he needed. He looked up at Rain and said, "Hello," he sat down, showing that he was no threat, "I am Benji. Who are you?" he cocked his head.
