To answer a few questions that have been repeatedly asked:

No, Robyn is not leaving. She will remain as a coder/programmer for Ala.

The art will remain the same. Yay!

Henry is the name of Ala's owner, but he does not have an account here. It is not certain if he will create one in the future.

I'm very pleased with Jeremy and Henry's work. Ala has been 10x faster than normal for me lately.
We mean the site will stay the same, the same Alacrity feel, the same way things are run, the same way set up for donations and the like.

Alacrity has always been working on improving itself, I know you are an older player Vidi, but you aren't on Ala too much. If you stick around for awhile, you will see how it's constantly trying to improve the site for the players and add new features the players can enjoy.

The beauty of Alacrity is that Henry does not have to play Alacrity to know what it needs. We have the suggestion forum for any player to list what they think needs to be improved and how we could improve it. We have extremely involved site staff who notice all of the problems through playing themselves.

Having the Admins bring things to Henry is no different than the way Rob has played Alacrity this past year. She's been extremely busy with her own life and life issues, and she had the admins bring to her things that needed to be changed and fixed and updated because she couldn't be on at the time.

Henry is extremely involved and interested in Alacrity's growth and development as well as maintaining the core values of the site we have grown to love. He has shown that he works well this way, already the crons are working better due to his influence and the fact he can afford to have Rob and Jeremy coding for Alacrity. He's had us start the long process for a new breed as the site has wanted a new one. He's doing everything right so far, so I hope you give him a chance.
I think what ever happens for a reson
Vidi, they mean making it a pay to enter site and such. They will be trying to revamp and upgrade the site but in no way change it from the fact it sells dogs and is free to play other than bones :)
it was said that alacrity is going to stay the same except for bug fixes and such.

does this mean that alacrity also won't be improved in other ways? i mean, the forums are a mess and several other features definitely need some sort of revamp. if he doesn't play on the site... then he won't really know how to make alacrity better.

i'm also uneasy about having to use admins and mods as go-betweens with the owner. /:
The foundation auctions are programmed/coded into the site. Rob doesn't actually create them each time the site creates them. They need to be held somewhere so its coded so that they appear on her account. :)
I'm assuming Rob still will? She's not deleting her account or anything and I always thought the FOundation Auctions were automatically ran by themselves.
I have a question.

Who will be running the Foundation Auctions from now on? o:
Alacrity makes the finest brand of agility dog-milk cheese on the market. Aged for years to perfection.
If you feel there are old suggestions that need to be reheard or new suggestions that need to be put out there, you should feel free to do that Shroom. If the community agrees with you and the admins think it's a good idea, you never know what will happen!

Henry may not be involved in the site the way Rob is and was, but that's okay, he's not trying to replace Rob. He's here to help Alacrity be around for years to come and only get better with time. Like good cheese.

(I just had to throw that last bit in. ;D)
