If you mean the hard cap, warrior. It is like the end of the road TP wise for puppies...it can't go any higher through breeding but if you spay/neuter, give a soldier helmet and use companions that raise TP it will still increase.
So it just raises the dog's TP?

From what I've been told, the cap CAN be exceeded, but it will not be bred beyond at this point. So, a dog that's bred which should exceed the cap, will max out at around 9kTP. However, entering a dog into trials, using soldier helmets, spaying/neutering your dog should all go above that limit :)
It just means the total TP can't go higher than that. That is the max it can be.
