My Belief

I believe that until us humans are gone, there can be no true peace. It's because of us that the world is being ruined. Animals eat each other, but they don't kill each other off for some stupid reason. I also believe that love is what enables us to hate. We hate because a loved one gets hurt. That hate leads us to retaliate and get revenge, and that revenge no doubt happens to someone who was also loved. Then they're also compelled to get revenge and satisfy their hatred. It's a vicious circle that cannot be stopped. I believe that there's no such thing as true peace, or at least until we are long gone, there can never be something like that.
Post back whatever you want. We all have opinions, and I'm just stating mine. <3 I know a lot of us were chatting about this, so why not have a place where we can reread those opinions later?

I agree upon that. There are several leading causes for our fighting amongst ourselves, greed and love being two very important causes. I also think that pain is a third, and fear is another. I have come to a point where I see that there really is no reason for our existence. We exist only to ruin something beautiful. The saying "If you love something, set it free." tries to tell us to let things we love live their own life, but greed causes us to not be able to. If we love something, we have to have it, it's as simple as that.
Another leading cause in our unpeaceful situation is money. Eliminate that and you've saved a good 30% of the world.
I agree, but to a limit. After we're gone, there will still be violence, but the earth will most likely be able to easily heal itself, when it's natural violence.
And I also think that the opposite of Love is indifference.
I cannot agree with this more

I think greed comes into it as well, because humans are just enver satisfied with what they have. And with the technology that we have we know there is always more we could have but we have
