Thylacine.........
I love the new Thylacine, beautiful art, etc.
But, I wish it was an accessory, rather than a companion.
It is very very difficult to get a dog to 150 energy without an energy companion.
This is especially so when the dogs stop gaining energy after rollover until you log in the next day.
In my kennel, any dog without an energy companion usually ends at 92 energy, none ever reach 100 overnight.
I am not sure under what circumstance a dog would gain to 150 on it's own.
Does anyone agree?

Support!!

I brought one only because the art is pretty. Really I have no use for it, as I get much more from just a +5 energy companion. Which is a shame because it does have a really neat feature, just not one I feel I can use effectively as it is now :C

Yup. In my situation, I made it so that you log in right at rollover.

Clay, don't forget to factor in that the dogs don't gain energy until you log in for the day, right?

So, for example, I lose 5 hours of time after rollover, since I never log in before 5a ala time.

Here is a scenario:
- Rollover hits, dog has 90 energy
- Dogs gain 2 energy every half hour
- 150 energy minus 90 energy = 60 energy needed to gain the amount a Thylacine can hold.
- 60 energy divided by 2 = 30.
- It will take 30 energy gains to hit 150 energy.
- 30 energy gains is 15 hours.

So, after rollover comes, it will take 15 hours to hit the amount a Thylacine can hold, all without the aid of an energy companion (this is NOT including feeding whenever the dog is hungry. I will do that math when I get back from my bike-ride :>

~Support~ C:
Its deemed quite useless as a companion (Unless your not on for most of the time then it may be useful but even then not to its full affect), I would really like to see this changed to a accessory it would be much more usefull ^.^
I am told that all dogs energy resets to 90 no matter what companion they have.

So, even if you are close to 100, or even over, the gain is gone at rollover.

Hope they take note, and change this to an accessory instead.
Very good point, Goofy. It really does defeat the purpose. If it were to give the dog 150 energy at rollover and sayy you go AFK for a while and it shoots up to like 130, then cool.. but right now, I am not finding any good way to use it because I'm online all day.

True. and I just noticed that.. but it is only after you get pass 100% energy.. it gains it up to 100% energy without having to feed.

Isis, then you have to be around every hour to feed, which defeats the point of the Thylacine.

If I am around every hour to feed, I don't need a Thylacine

I agree! But if you add an autofeeder and a golden leash with your Thy then it gains energy okayish. I have gotten my dog past 120 energy with the golden leash and autofeeder. So it does work, but it would be much better as an accessory.
