Monthly Theme: A Country Tribute

There may not be many who remember this, but back in the beginning Ala had a fun little monthly RE during maybe September of two years ago! :P

In recognition of the top 10 countries on Alacrity, we could get a little RE gaining one of the country's flags. They were fun to collect and great to add to scenes and helped users become aware of how multicultural our site was! Though we all speak English here, it was great to see the site facts of percentage of players from each country.

It'd be a great thing to bring back, perhaps in a new way.

I'd love to see little flag bandanas of the top ten for the dogs to were, for an example, here is a drawing I was given with such a thing.

Each RE could give a fact about the country you got the bandana from. We could have news posts with facts.

Furthermore, it could evolve into a monthly theme of our Top Ten Countries.

Backgrounds from the different top countries, either cities or things specific to the country.

The companion could be mythological creatures or unique animals or even just specific dog breeds to those countries. Or Three gave me this for companions, a list of national animals

Items could be things like little miniature monuments or items. Like baseballs for America or a miniature double decker bus for England or little desserts or whatever.

It'd be a great way to both recognize the fact we have a lot of users from so many varied backgrounds who come here with a love for dogs and meeting new people. Plus we'd get to learn new things about different countries!

And you can bet I'll be collecting all the Finnish stuff! ;p
