Ascending/Descending Post Order Option for Forums

I'm not sure if this only bugs me, but it drives me a little nuts that new posts show up in ascending order, especially in RP circumstances, because it's like having to read backward from the last page to the first.

I wouldn't want to force a descending format on anyone, but would love it if we had a little option pull-down menu to choose ascending or descending order for our threads, even if it would only be seen on our own browsers.
