$10 per Pup Predict pair
This is an idea to help the site out! There's an issue with there being too much Ala Cash on the site, that's making it so people don't donate as much and therefore the server costs are not being met as well as they should be (to put it simply).
This idea would mean that it charges you $10 Ala Cash every time you press the 'Test Breeding' button on the Pup Predictor. You would still get unlimited refreshes per pair, it would just cost you per pair you tested.
Before you support or do not support, please consider that this is an idea to help Alacrity and Robyn out with expenses, which are growing as the site does. So think: would you pay $10 Ala Cash (which is almost nothing, really) to help Robyn keep Alacrity running?

I support. This isn't a lot and if it is, don't use the predictor. It's not a requirement for breeding and there's nothing you'll lose from giving up a measly $10 for an unlimited predict from a pair. If you really ARE broke, trial and play games. You can make 10k in one day from playing games alone

I don' support this. I remember that back when I first started, it was really hard on me money-wise. I saved every dollar just for one item. I don't agree with this because it'd be hard on users who have trouble getting money. :/

I really like this idea! I would even pay $10 per predict instead of per pair.

Don't support; I don't even really use the predictor, so the times I do, I'd pay it if I had to, but how does that affect how people donate? Considering you can't exchange cash for bones, there's really no sense in it, because reducing the amount of cash doesn't reduce the amount of bones being bought compared to the amount that would be bought with 10 less alacash. Why don't we reduce the bone specials, raise the price per bone, or make more bone-only things available? All those are things that don't necessarily end at cost of the players, but could boost bone sales. Having a new breed coming out soon will surely boost custom sales, which should also help.

I support~ People earning more then donating. It won't hurt to lose a little $ for pup predicts.
Honestly, In my opinion the pup predicter is a way to find breeding pairs and which pups are reliable, and shall remain free.

I think putting a dent in the amount of triple-bone specials will help. I know that we have triple bone specials that Rob sets up, but what if those were changed to double-bone specials for a while? That way there are less bones on the market and people will donate <strong>more</strong> than they would during a triple-special.<br>For example. Say someone wants 15 bones. They're gonna wait till a triple special so they can donate $5. Effectively getting more for their $$. If you take away triple specials for a while and, people will have to donate at least $10 to get 15 bones ;)
"There's an issue with there being too much Ala Cash on the site, that's making it so people don't donate as much "<br /> <br /> Alc, this is about donating, whether or not the idea would be effective. <br /> <br /> I'm living in a bad situation, it doesn't have the option to change for the next year. I can't afford to donate, I can barely afford to eat most days. The site isn't really making me <i>want</i> to donate, either. So I can't stay. Once I run out of money here, I wouldn't have the option to continue. So before that happens, I'm trying to get a raffle for charity going, but there's zero interest even with items that are now insanely high valued. <br /> <br /> I find the fact that they're so open about trying to drain players of what they've worked for so more money can be made (even if it is to support the server) absolutely insulting. <br /> <br /> I've invested a lot of money into this game. If I had the option to take it all back, you bet your backside I would. It was a stupid investment on my part and I'll have to live with that, but I would <i>never</i> think to continue contributing to that.<br /> <br /> Rob, your reply is coming but I have something to attend to, for now.

I don't see why the topic of donating is an issue when we are discussing about using cash >.o<br /> <br /> Rob said in the rules that she won't force us to donate and she isn't. I do believe that lowering the overall income/amount of ala cash can help the economy. <br /> <br /> I just think SOMETHING needs to be done with the overall bone supply besides just asking people to donate. How about during triples and doubles?<br /> <br /> Maybe we can do something about that..? Think about it-if someone donates $100 on a triple, they get 300 bones. A month later, a portion of those bones cane be traaced to other users. If a single user has 50 of the bones from that original user, then there is a less likely chance of them donating to get bones if they already have 50. But there is a percentage, its nt definite. But multiply that by a few users and there can be some sort of economical issue.<br /> <br /> As with this predicting thing, I support.<br /> <br /> $10 is NOT a lot. Really, it isn't. If you have $100, thats 10 predicts right there. Predicts aren't necessary and you can live without them. Its a luxury. You pay for a tv, on't you? <br /> <br /> I feel like people are taking their fustration out at Rob and others and are threatening to quit. Why? You just have to move with the economy. :/<br /> <br /> Thats my piece, I hope people realize that there isn't much of a point arguing against this DX<br /> <br /> Wrote this out of fustration, so if it contradicts itself, I'm sorry :{
