Disallow hiding coat info for...
...studs and dogs for sale.
The whole hiding coat info is a major PITA if you need a stud or want to buy a dog. I need to see the markings on a stud, and it is definitely good to see markings on pups for sale, too. I think most people would want to see what they really buy.
So why not make it automatic? Put in a price or set a dog for stud and the coat info is shown.
For the studs, it could probably be done in a way only the one breeding to the stud can see it, as in you need a bitch of the same breed in heat and get the coat info shown when about to request before you can submit the request. So those people worried about "stolen" custom designs can still stud their dogs.

Support for the same reasons Hypno Shroom stated. If I'm cruising through dog sales, happen by one that catches my eye and it's markings are hidden? Most of the time I'll skip it. I'd rather not have to wait hours/days to hear back and maybe not even want the dog, and there's no say the dog will still be available. <br /> <br /> For Stud reasons, yeah it can be annoying when you can't see a studs markings. Yes, there is always asking the owner but for some that don't have heat cookies? That's wasting precious time and there female might very well be out of heat by the time they get a response.

"What if I ask the owner "what are his markings?" and they lie or refuse to tell me?"<br /> Why would they lie? :P<br /> Why woudl they refuse to tell you? You'd know once you bought it anyways.

I don't only want to know the base color, I need the details. Sometimes I just want to make sure I get no glitch.I've been given false info before so asking the seller is not a good option anymore. <br /> <br /> Additionally, most people want to buy a dog NOW and not wait for hours before maybe the owner comes on, and not only because someone else might have bought the dog by then. <br /> <br /> I find the paranoia about "stolen" designs or copied dogs irritating. It makes things so much more difficult for the rest of the players, which is, I daresay, the majority.

Support. This just makes sense to me. A few pup predicts doesn't account for those markings and bases we can't easily see. What if I ask the owner "what are his markings?" and they lie or refuse to tell me? Obviously they wouldn't get my business if it's the latter, but if it's the former, how can I control it?

I don't show the coat colours of my glitch dogs. I want to make money off of them selling, I don't want people to be able to write down their codes and use their unique colours for customs<br /> <br /> It's not hard for someone to approach me and ask me what their base coat colour or w/e is
