To answer a few questions that have been repeatedly asked:
No, Robyn is not leaving. She will remain as a coder/programmer for Ala.
The art will remain the same. Yay!
Henry is the name of Ala's owner, but he does not have an account here. It is not certain if he will create one in the future.

Yay for the art to stay. I have seen two site owner changes on sites where all the art was messed up after. *huggles her hoards of items*

And yes, art will remain the same, and if you sent your money to Robyn, you will still get your bones, don't worry :)

Donations are fine :) Robyn is still managing that part of the site! <br /> <br /> Breed polls are unaffected -- We are running Ala as we always have! <br /> <br /> You were not lied to Lwax -- the sale went through recently. Also, the art will most definitely stay the same :)

Wow, I haven't been here long and already a new owner and a new breed poll lol. So far I am enjoying the site very much, so I am happy to hear that they don't have plans for a major overhaul. :)

Im super excited that we now have another member on Ala. Always good to grow and get to know them. Loreebee is right, I sure hope that we dont have to contiunesly pay to stay on.

Does this mean that we've been lied to when we asked about this all the time back? Or did it happen later? And yes, I mean that as a serious question, because I have been told it was just gossip and told off for mentioning it. <br /> <br /> I only have one other question. <br /> <br /> Will the art stay the same? It is one important thing making Ala different from most sims. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />

Their response time is particularly quick on subjects as well.<br /> <br /> As the news post has stated, the new owner is rather content to let Alacrity head in the direction it always has been, whilst providing provisions to fix old problems and move onto new features.<br /> <br /> All while preserving what is special about Alacrity as much as possible.

Loree, I do not see that being an issue. Henry, the new owner, understands how Alacrity is and he is uninterested in changing it -- he's really just helping us make the site more efficient and bug free :D

I am excited about the growth AS long as it does not go the way of the shortsightedness of Foo Pets and becomes a mandatory paying membership site.<br /> <br /> That would be my only real concern.
