Along with this update comes a bittersweet departure - Rixon will no longer be on our art team here at Alacrity, but I'm sure she has big plans for the future with her new site, and will do very well for herself.

Hey, all!

It's an art contest! As part of the Big Spring, Alacrity's staff would like to invite its users to create an icon for the steam group. The deadline for submissions will be June 21st! I suggest getting an early start because we have some site events coming up and I don't want you guys to be swamped.

Submissions should be submitted to the Admin Hub on Alacritysim.com. We would recommend making only 1 submission, but if you feel you have the time to create up to 3 great submissions, go for it! Remember, though, quality over quantity!

The winner will receive, as a prize, 10 bones and the rare item of his choice*, and the chance to have their art featured as the long-term icon of the alacrity steam group**

Submissions should in some way relate to Alacrity, to gaming or to both. The standard size for the icon on the group page is 184p square


So, get out your styli and tell your artistic friends to come join in! Especially if they used to be active and haven't been around a while - or if they've never been members and are missing out on all the fun!

If you're not familiar with the steam group, feel free to drop by or join us from your steam client!



*Excludes "Unique" items (ex: Custom Companion/Marking Tokens)

If you are interested in applying for the Moderator or Site Assistance teams, the deadline for applications will be tomorrow (May 6th), midnight Ala time. That should give you all just over a day to request/fill out the application for the open staff positions.

To get an application, post an issue to the Admins through the Issue Hub, including your ID#s, age, timezone, and which position you'd like an application for.

If you have already requested an application and have not filled it out, those applications must be completed by the aforementioned deadline to be considered..
