Hello All,

I'm posting to talk about the rumors of all staff hating certain players on this website and people stating they have screenshot proof.

We can not control the private conversations staff members have off-site, with the exception being if a staff member were to directly contact you and harass you.

However, sharing screenshots, quotes, or other information about how another player hates them is against our rules. This breaks General Rule 3 regarding harassment. Going around telling people hate someone is not alright to do on Alacrity. If we discover any players sharing screenshots or quotes, or stating to other players they have proof all staff hates them, we will be forced to write you up for General Rule 3 and for General Rule 2 for disregarding this post. We do not wish to do that.

If you ever receive screenshots, quotes or anything else stating a staff member hates you, or you believe a staff member is mistreating you out of hate, please report it to us Admins. You can do so by going to the Issue Hub and writing an issue directly to us. We will always investigate. If you feel that during this current incident you have been wronged, please come to us admins in the Issue Hub.

If you are presented with screenshots of this kind, and do not feel comfortable with a particular staff member handling your issues, you can also make your case to admins and we will give very serious consideration to this. We don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable or unsafe, and we will not require a member to receive disciplinary action from a staff member who you may suspect is acting out of a negative bias, if we feel that becomes the appropriate exception.

As for our staff members, please take this into consideration. Do not be cavalier with any frustrations you may have that come with your positions on this site. Even off-site, your statements can reflect poorly on us, and can make our players uncomfortable. Like with any business, you still represent us when you're not working, and if it becomes a trend or a recurring problem that begins to harm the business, we will be forced to consider disciplinary action, if not de-staffing. We don't want to have to do this, and we want you to be able to have freedom off-site, but you must also take responsibility for the people you speak to, who may decide to screenshot anything you say

Again, if you have questions or wish to talk to an admin about how you were treated or a screenshot you received, please go to the Admin Issue Hub. However otherwise we do not wish to see this discussed anywhere on the site outside of the Admin Hub.

Please remember the Newbie Helpers and the rest of the site staff are here to help, but they’re not the only options to find answers on the site. Since all of the questions can be found in the above areas I told you about, you must search for them there. However, since the Issue Hub is a part of those resources, you are allowed to ask the Newbie Helpers for help with only one of the questions. Asking for the answers to the quiz in chat, forums, or through user messages will be a disqualification! In addition, I will only accept one entry per person, so you cannot enter your side account.
