Hey everyone. It has came to my attention lately that there have been some confusion on what can and cannot be made with Custom Accessory Makers. Art is a very large part of Alacrity, and it is very important that no one violate any laws pertaining to it.

No copyrighted images are to be used on Alacrity without express written permission from the holder of the copyright. This includes, but is not limited to: photographs, artwork, icons and tags, photomanipulations, altered versions of existing images, etc. In addition, no trademarked characters are to be used on Alacrity without express written permission from the holder of the trademark. This includes both existing and official images of said characters, as well as any art you may create yourself.

This means anything made by someone ELSE cannot be used unless you have the artist's permission. This INCLUDES photographs, where by 'artist', we mean the actual person that was behind the camera and clicked the button to take the photo. This also means you CANNOT make an artwork of a trademarked character. No Spiderman, Superman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Hello Kitty, Littlefoot, etc. These characters are owned by their respective corporations. If you use a trademarked character, and someone from the company that owns it sees it on this site, Alacrity could be sued. NOT you, not the person who put it here, but Robyn herself. So just don't.

When creating a Custom Accessory with the Custom Accessory Maker item, please keep these rules in mind. Custom Accessories found to be using copyrighted images or trademarked characters will be deleted from the site and their creators will be fined. No refunds for the use of the Custom Accessory Maker item will be issued.

If you are in doubt about the nature of an image or character, please contact an admin for a ruling before using it anywhere on the site.

If you have a Custom Accessory that violates the above rule, and come to me voluntarily, there will be no questions or fines other than just having them deleted from the site. All you have to do, is message me Wysper (#9) and ask that you remove XXXXX Ca from Alacrity.

First of all, many apologies for the inconvenience of this glitch. Some of you have experienced it, where the Bright Rainbow item shows as the Rainbow Christmas Tree once it's equipped. When I took a look at the filenames (not the title names), it became apparent why the mixup was happening; both filenames began with the word "rainbow" (rainbow.png and rainbowchristmastree.png) and so the system was confusing the items.

I have fixed this, but it may mean that the item no longer works for you and you need a new copy. If this is the case, please report to the Issue Hub and let us know how many replacements you need. Admins will get them sent out as quickly as possible.

If anyone is found to be making a false claim, trying to get extra free copies, a mod or admin will handle the subsequent consequences, so please be fair and honest in your reports. :}
