This is the final call for the Alacrity Loves Robyn quilt pieces! I've heard a few concerns out there, so I'm going to address them in this post; hopefully this will allow many more people to participate!

First and foremost, I am hearing that people are afraid they don't have the artistic background to invest in one of these squares. While this is not the main point of the square, I can understand the concern. Our wonderful Shinobu has volunteered her artistic expertise to this problem! All you have to do is traipse on over to her Robyn Quilt Squares Thread and she will assist you in making your square!

Secondly, I've heard concerns that people are not comfortable with emailing their squares to the email address provided (RobynQuilt@gmail.com). We can solve this problem easily! Simply host your image on a site like photobucket or imageshack and message me, #36, with the image here on Alacrity. I will accept these submissions as As always, if you have any questions or concerns about submitting your quilt square, please don't hesitate to contact me via message!

Finally, I realized I forgot to set a deadline. We want Robyn to have her quilt at some point next week, so I am setting a deadline of Midnight on Sunday, May 15th. Please have your quilt squares submitted before then!

The submissions so far are wonderful! I can't wait to show Alacrity and Robyn what all of you wonderful people contributed to <3 Thank you all for your hard work, dedication, and support! The community here is one that sets us apart from all of the other sims online and this is our chance to really showcase just how wonderful our community is!

Rare Batch Auction

Hey guys! Since the last ones were such a success we have decided to have another Rare Batch Auction. As you all know, we have wonderful art here on Alacrity, and it is a shame that some things will never be released again after their month is over. So, we re-release things from now and then through the auction system. This allows everyone the chance to buy something they may have missed and would really enjoy having!

There will be ONE item that is handled differently though, so keep reading!

The following items will be released as standard auction items and will be up for 1 week.

The special item, will be a Fenghuang! This wonderful companion will instead be the object of Alacrity's first ever Silent Auction.

The Silent Auction will last for 1 week, the same as the regular auction items. But this is how it will be different. You will message Wysper (#9) the following:

Now the amount can be anything. The highest bidder, at the end of the week will win the item. But here is the fun part, you will have NO idea what anyone else has bid on this item. You can submit your bids as many times as you may want, every time you get that feeling "What if someone outbid me?" You can increase your own bid by sending another message. This is meant to be fun and exciting, cause you never know what someone else will have outbid you with!

(For control purposes, 1 Bone = $10,000)

**You will NOT send any bones or money during the bidding process! When you send in a bid, I will make sure you HAVE what you bid. If you do, then your name will go onto the bidder's list I am keeping. If you do NOT have the payment at the time you submit your bid, then I will disregard your bid!
At the end of the auction, I will manually take away the money or bones that the winner bid. If the winner does NOT have the money or bones still in their posession, then it will go to the next highest bidder. So keep what you bid available!**

I know you've all been waiting patiently for the puppy images to be implemented, and now I've finished two of them for you all to enjoy!

They are currently only available for the Papillon and Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and the rest will be released one by one as they get finished. Don't worry, I'll make announcements each time I get a new puppy image into the system and functioning. ;D

Puppy images will last for 4 months of your dog's life before growing up into their adult images. You may need to refresh the images at that time, so don't panic if your dog is still a puppy after 4 months. Just click the image to refresh and the adult image should come through. :}

Kitty is still working hard on some coding so that some items like companions and other static accessories will be available to the puppies, but in the meantime all backgrounds should work for them. I will update this news post as soon as the code is fixed up and I have companions and certain accessories activated to show up on your pups.
