Bug Fixes
* MySQL Server has been FOUND! She will no longer run away from us. Her tennis game was great. ;)
* Auction bug is fixed! Remember when you tried to bid bones on an auction that already had a money bid and it asked for exorbitant amounts of money (think $39847389274593874938)? This has now been fixed and you can once again bid as intended!
* Accident recovery is now working correctly for all dogs. Health will only go down continuously if the dog has NOT been taken to the vet for an injury. This doesn't count the health the dog may lose for the initial injury.
* Older dogs now decrease health twice as much, we finally had some older dogs to test with and their health wasn't lowered much at all. Dogs on Ala don't die at a set age, but the health declines the older they get until you can't take care of them anymore.
Exciting new changes to Alacrity!
New Video's!
We now have two brand new help videos added to our F.A.Q. page. These are designed to help newcomers learn their way around the site.
Welcome Video | Breeding Video
Autofeeders
These will now boost Energy + Health by two (2) every half an hour. This is to replicate what would happen with feeding your dogs manually.
The Breeder
There will no longer be litters of pups coming every hour. Instead there will be four auction rounds per day. Five of one random breed will be available for auction in six (6) hour increments every day.
Everyday there will be four (4) rounds of Dog Auctions.
* 4:00am - 5 Pups of a random breed will be up for six (6) hour auctions.
* 10:00am - 5 Pups of a random breed will be up for six (6) hour auctions.
* 4:00pm - 5 Pups of a random breed will be up for six (6) hour auctions.
* 10:00pm - 5 Pups of a random breed will be up for six (6) hour auctions.
This change will help the economy by making people buy from other members selling dogs, instead of just buying dogs from the breeder. People who want to start out new lines will buy dogs from the new foundation auctions--everyone else will buy from users or the pound.
The Pound
Any dog's that run away from your kennel will have a two (2) week grace period for you to buy them back. After that time if you have NOT purchased your dog back from the pound, they will be spayed or neutered and join the rest of the pound dogs. In addition you have the ability to send any dog you want to the pound, instead of being able to put them down. (Putting dogs down is no longer be a user option on Alacrity.)
Any dog sent to the pound by you will be automatically spayed or neutered, just like a real life pound. These dogs will stay in the pound, available for public purchase for two (2) weeks before they are deleted from the site. This will be much like being put to sleep in a real life dog pound.
Breeding Rules
As per the poll, there will now be a breeding recovery period for bitches on the site. They will only be able to be bred once per tweleve (12) months Alacrity time. A heat cookie will still push the bitch into heat, but will NOT get around the twelve (12) month recovery timer. The only way to make this time go by faster is to speed up the age of the bitch by using a Timewatch or a Magical Alarm Clock.
This will cut the number of puppies being introduced to the site, and will also help the breeding economy.
In addition, small breeds litter sizes have been re-increased back to 2-4, so now all dogs can have litters of 2-4 always. The economy should be able to support this now.
Account perks are on the way so you can purchase the breeder perk and be able to view puppy images as adults, have a higher boost in TP, and always have a max litter size, and the training perk which will give you 20 more training sessions a day and boost the amount each training session has on in and out of kennel dog trainings.
Item Catalog
You are now able to search Site Items and Custom Accessory Items in separate lists.
Bug Fixes & Exciting Updates!

While I'm a bit bummed about the wait period, I think it'll ultimately help the economy a lot. And it'll keep dogs from being the Ala equivalent of puppy milled, which I've definitely noticed. I was also bummed about the breeder change, but then I looked at the auction and realized you can actually see the markings on puppies now, so that's a huge improvement! I'm excited for all of these changes; I think they'll make Alacrity a better place (not like it wasn't great already <3)

Thanks, that's really good to know. Most of the dogs I've considered old are on my side account (those around 200 months) and I've noticed more health decrease in them than my other dogs. I don't know why I hang on to them, as most of them are sprayed and won't be used in breeding anymore - but somehow I just can't let go of them. But it's good to know that they'll still be around for some time. ^^
