I play a game which has a server vs server event every 3 months, that takes 1-4 weeks to complete. usually its decided within a week. I run the server, so its sort of hard to skip out
During this time my wired isp has been on the fritz, forcing me to go online with cellular. its not really fit for working on a unix terminal so I just said screw it and wait.
Anyhow, event is coming to a close soon, and if I have to sit in a hotel lobby to get stable internet for pushing out remaining items I will!
This is a lot of work and the heart of alacrity as much as the dogs are its soul.
Presently I have extracted all the old item coding and am rewriting it and organizing it in preparation for new items backend, and the addition of new items, artwork and more.
I apologize for taking so long, but this is the final mountain to scale. Once we pass this, the major parts of ala will have been rewritten.
I’ve written over 150k lines of code over the last year, alacrity is down to 300k from 500k++ lines. I’ll be able to clean it even further on the future revisions and now be able to go much faster.
Much faster, Enabled to handle different types of users (handler , dog, kennel etc) Easy to start adding new items Streamlining MANY bug fixes on individual items
