now that the minigaming framework has been well tested, and (mostly) prepared for service,

I can begin overhaul on the beauty shows and trials!

it took a lot longer than I wanted, but as stated in previous news posts, this will enable a lot for us.

since trials seems to be most popular in the poll, we'll start on that first

ok, ALMOST THERE!

the games engine and test game are undergoing testing.
So far, it looks pretty good.

it appears everything is working, so I'll be doing some cleaup, then I will proceed to redo the trials and beauty shows

The game engine will allow for seasonal events, daily tasks and more.

this is an important step to getting alacrity done right!

1. clean up the page navigation for the new games section.
2. do either beauty shows or trials (whichever is easier)

I was hoping to finish by sunday, but I didnt think about the general page navigation cleanup, so I might be done with clean up by sunday and start games fresh next week

I'm performing a substantial makeover on the games.

I'm already close to finishing the infrastructure. Coming sooner than you think. most likely this week.

Beauty shows will come first, as its quick to develop and easier to test with. agility trials will take longer b/c I plan to remake and do a good job on it.

additionally, users will be able to interact during the contest in a turn based fashion. First, I have to read the official agility testing guidelines and then watch a bunch of videos. 😂
