Yeah I feel the same way, I had alot of pitbulls and I had cash too, it's not like we can't earn cash, I had a pitbull rescue, and I could enjoy myself.. but now it's just about the money.. I think after awhile they should let the other members come back on I mean really.. they probably have a ton of cash...

OMG, no way I was on foopets too! I loved it there also, and since we can't pay for it, I had to leave my BEST friends and my dogs.. I was sooo sad and tried everything to stop this new rule :( I miss it soooo bad...
Ok. well maybe when I get more rares we can trade, I mean I don't have that many.. so maybe some other time will be better (:
*guilty* I forgot what your major was. The job market is so tough, it's good you got some kind of job. I was lucky as heck to find a full time job in the field I wanted/needed (need for gaining experience hours to add on to this year's vet school apps). Places like doggy day care are incredibly hard to find work at. I think it's probably because only a few people are actually required to run operations like that. I spent 6+ months asking every clinic in central OR to let me scoop poop or muck out stalls. Even for a job like that, there was virtually no positions. Like I said, I was just lucky.
Hmm. The kids. Well, Sasha is getting older (10+), but still doing really well (she did a 10 mile hike in the mountains with a light pack, leading the whole way). No medical issues as of yet. Wing is a stupid happy puppy still, but has turned into a dynamic sled dog (he'll be racing with me next year). Good leader too. And he still loves his kitties. Siri is ridiculous as always, keeping everyone (dogs included) in line. Her and Wing are best buds. Our old cat Sassy passed away in March due to renal failure. We haven't been able to bury her yet since the ground has been frozen.
Suri (the new cat) is an adorable little 7 pound black female. She had a dislocated hip (due to unknown cause). Her family could not afford to fix her, so instead or euthanizing her, they surrendered her to our clinic. I got suckered into taking her. So, one FHO (femoral head ostectomy) later, she's fixed and recovering. She was just too young (10 months) and too sweet to let her go for something so fixable. She'll move with me when I get into vet school, along with Siri, Sasha, and Wing. Don't know how I'll find a place to rent....
Yeah, the dog sledding season did us really well this season. I'm not sure why. Our dogs were driven and wanted it as badly as we did. I actually kept the same core team most of the season (a little unusual for us, we tend to mix it up), so I got really really close to the 8 dogs I used a lot. I'm really excited to use Wing next season in the same way. We're already a pretty tight dog/driver team since I've been heavily training him all winter and using him for bikejoring this spring/summer. He was one of my leaders for the 5-6 mile dryland race we won :) Proud of that boy!
hehe, we must have some kind of telepathy unbeknownst to even us :D I saw you on chat and thought I'd say hi. I'm glad to hear you made it through another hear of school. Is the job you got something you're going to enjoy?
As for me, I've been keeping really busy between work and taking care of my "kids" at home. It doesn't look like I'm going to be going to vet school this year. The chance is still there, but I have to start planning this coming year based on the letters I've received back. I'm considering trying to work on vet tech school, as a back up plan. They started a new program at my local community college. Mushing season is over, so I've been doing lots of hiking with my 2 around the state. Hopefully I'll get some backpacking in too. I managed to get another cat just this past week. She had surgery Friday and hasn't really been mixed in with my established clan. In about 2 weeks we'll make real introductions. Between all of them and work, I'm keeping myself out of trouble :D

lol, no worries. I know how that goes. I've been keeping pretty busy. I just started a job about 2 weeks ago. It's full-time so it takes up most of my weekdays. Between that and finishing up vet school applications, I haven't done much. My race/training season is coming up pretty soon, so there goes my weekends XD. Life's good though. Once I finish these applications, I can just have a normal schedule between work and training weekends. That'll be nice. I might try to take some continuing education courses online (I heard there were things like big-cat medicine, husbandry, etc available).
How's life been treating you? How's Alexis doing? :D

LOL No worries, I can be picky too. The dog I was talking about was a very smooth glitch husky in a teal. If you look at my female, Caribbean Waters, you would get an idea of a color similar to the one she was...but no brindle. I usually get nice pups from her & my stud Tropical Jazz. :)

Ok, so I tried a few different things to try to darken up the area I think you were talking about. It's not a huge difference, but maybe it helped? I found out the paper was already pretty saturated with the graphite, so it didn't take kindly to being drawn over again and started to just warp the paper. Grrr. Anyways, I played with it some in the computer and this is what came around. If you preferred the older version, just let me know and I can email you the file or something like that. I'm glad you like it :) I think I know what you're talking about. I'll darken up that area when I get home (tomorrow) and re-scan. Hopefully I can get it darker. Occasionally the page gets too saturated with graphite and won't go darker, but I;ll give it a shot! I'll re-link when I've gotten it uploaded again.

I saw a really cute sheltie in the breeder that other day but I told myself that maybe there was one like that one under serch while I looking I saw a few cutes but not the one I was hoping so I went back to the breeder and there weren't any shelties and I was like O.O? and then I was like XD Oh dah the hour had changed so of course there are no shelties! I took that as a sign and try not to buy more dogs even though I am in a of male borzoi as well as a female sheltie X3
I did and they are super cute but I had decided last night that I was going to only own the dogs tha tI have now to max them... I am running behind in maxing my shelties and Halftone is going to take a while. -dies- So sorry :(

Only one pup showed up with albino eyes and I wasn't too happy about some of the pup predicts a few I really liked.... sorry Nicole but I am not too interested in Masrhmellow :(
