Alex took it extremely hard, also another problem arose, he still was weaned. He was only 3 months old. "Sky-Blue what should we do? He's still too young to be weaned..." Mist said watching the foal.

Star nodded her face as white as a sheet. Mist, Rain and the others were taken back by this.. Alex heard this and wailed "No it can't be! No!" He got up and ran off to where they said the body was.
Razo neighed like a little filly and raced away as far as he could and hid(He would protest that term, he would say he simply ended up there) behind Kaje. "Dead... D-dead horse o-over that wa-way, go see, Alex's m-mom," Razo was shaking like a leaf.

"Ok.." Star said walking very close to Roza her eyes shut and slowly opened them slightly. There was a chestnut mare with one white foot. "Just as Alex said.." She whimpered. The mare looked about a day dead, she had a gunshot wound and must have died of that. Star ran out and hid behind Mist. "What's wrong?"
