Knight:<br /> I was glad Sunset took a happier outlook on this.Even though we'd never see our mother again we were still glad to be free.<br /> "Bridget.Do you know where the rest of the herd his?"<br /> "No I'm sorry Knight the foals and their mothers were corralled separately from the rest.I did see your father he was putting up a real fight."Bridget beamed at the memory.I smiled.I saw Star and her mother were lying in the grasses Star apparently asleep.<br /> "Get some sleep.That roundup and escape has left everyone completely tired."I walked over to the edge of the clearing and laid down on the dirt.It wasn't softer then the grass but it was more private and I liked to sleep alone most nights.I looked over to see Sasha and Sunset talking quietly as they laid side by side and Bridget walked over to her mother.I soon fell asleep happy to be free and have some of my herd back.

Star walked over to the stream, drank then sat down in the grass. Even though the humans patched her up she was still very weak. Star closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep. Mist looked at her foal proud of her strength, and her will to live. Mist also sat down but, she didn't sleep she wanted to make sure that Star was healing well.

Star:<br /> <br /> I could walk better than expected. I was able to walk most of the time without leaning on Sasha for support. We got back to the herd. <br /> <br /> Mist: I nickered back and ran off in a different route than Star and Sasha. The humans didn't chase me though or hop in the car, they just stood there. I was happy, Star had a much better chance of living and we had escaped! I continued smiling, and trotted home.

Sasha:<br /> I help Star up and out making sure she wouldn't stumble or fall behind.I whinned to Mist who was distracting the humans still just to tell her I got Star and to meet back at home.I took a different route though a bit longer was safer and hoped Star could make it.

"Okay.I can get Star I'm small and less clumsy."I walked to the side of the house as Mist lured the humans out.I walked inside to see the strangest dwelling place.I'd never been inside one of these strange buildings but I tried not to stop.I came to the kitchen which held sharp and shiny things on the counter.Star lay on the floor on a wooly blanket.<br /> "Hi I'm Sasha come on can you walk?" (yes Sasha is a colt not a filly)
