Chat Rules?
Ive been feeling that maybe in regular font, possibly in the color red that the link to chat rules, the rules, issue hub, and any other important notifications, should be posted on the top of the chat box.
It seems the growing problem of newbies bashing chat, is basically ruining all points of chat. There would be less of the "public outcry" of "mini moding" if we added the links to these things. And in general make chat a better place to be.

AHHH That is an awesome idea! I think on the chat page it should be like that but say "Click here for the rules of chat before posting"

Clayton I LOVE that idea! Maybe it could be kept there for the first ten days like the message on top? <a href="http://i1016.photobucket.com/albums/af281/CommonRp/example.png">Example of what I am saying</a> I also think there should be a little "X" mark that hides the rules for users who already know them. I love your idea :D<br />

What if whenever a person enters chat, it shows a brief overview of the rules in chat? It could only show for the user, but I think it would be very helpful.<br /> I did a shoddy example of what I mean.<br /> <br /> http://i52.tinypic.com/rqyk38.jpg

Support <3 I love the newbies, and they keep this site running, but I'm kind of tired of people saying "You can't tell them not to advertise" Or "That was rude to tell them to come back once they've read the rules" Even though half the time the person who is supposidly "Mini modding" Was just trying to help a Newbie by telling them where the Rules can be found and how it would be helpful for them if they went and read them.

While this is a good idea, putting it all on the chat page in red font would be a little much, since there are so many rules. Maybe if there was a link to the rules in red font? I wouldn't really want all the chat rules listed out at the top of the page, it'd just be annoying :(
