This raffle was quite the smashing success with nearly 1400 tickets purchased! Since this was such a fun event for us, we will be looking into holding raffles more regularly. They won't always feature a real life prize, but there's bound to be some extremely rare and exclusive prizes upcoming, so keep an eye out for news posts announcing another raffle :D


You all purchased tickets to be drawn for 12 prizes total, so I'm going to list the winners, in order, with their prize packs below.

Year of the Ox: Cow, Tanuki Plush, Guardian Lion Statue - #63, who had a total of 349 raffle tickets!
Year of the Tiger: Lounging Bengal Tiger, Dao Sword, Military Macaw - #1455, who had a total of 15 raffle tickets!
Year of the Rabbit: Celestial Rabbit, Perched Kingfisher, Forest Hideaway - #856, who had a total of 14 raffle tickets!

What do we do with our tickets if none of them won?

In concerns to the raffle, the player spent $8,725,000 on tickets. ^^; I would not consider it unfair for them to have been drawn more than once given they paid to improve their odds to do so.

Though I am not so much arguing anyone else's point than expressing my own. As I think the entire selling point of a raffle system is to encourage players to purchase more tickets for better odds at more items and/or the grand prize.

Please take a moment to weigh in on the new poll.

This one is important and will affect game play, so make sure that your voice is heard! The current trial system is a little bit broken; massive amounts of money are being introduced into the game and causing the entire economy to destabalize. In order to get inflation back under control, we need to somehow decrease the amount of cash being introduced into the game and the best way to do this is to tweak trial payouts. We know this will affect a lot of your bottom lines, but please understand that this is for the good of the players at large.

The new poll offers options for which we can limit the amount of cash being brought into game play. If you have a better idea, please don't hesitate to voice that as well. We have set up a thread to discuss to ramifications of these options, voice your opinions about the potential effectiveness of the options given, show support or disagreement with any/all of these options, and to give us ideas we had maybe not thought about. Mimi, I agree there is usually a limit of trials that can be entered, but why not just ask your fellow Ala's to put some up? They are usually more then happy to do it, mostly because they know they may need some one day, and because they are nice. I understand your opinion, but in all reality, people will not put in dogs just to give other people a chance, and reducing the amount a person can put in a trail, reduces the amount of people trialing. Is this really good for ala?

But still, any time I trial with my foundies or customs, I don't stand a chance. It would be a total waste of money against a maxed capped dog. May as well not trial period. e.e

I voted for 1, but I have a few reasons for this. I think this would also solve the problem of the trials disappearing so fast. I haven't been on as much lately, but I've seen it where there's been almost no trials to be had because people have come in (me included) and swept them. So yeah, it might be that people with higher stat and capped dogs have to wait a bit, but they can always trial team a different way -- Put a high stat and a low stat in so that someone else will have a chance. Spread the wealth around and let the economy balance itself a bit.
