Hi everyone!

We're pleased to report that the 30 minute crons seem to be back up and running. This are the ones that cause your dogs to age, gain energy, gain health, et cetera. We apologize for all of the issues lately and greatly appreciate all of your patience!

We have a couple new bugs to report:
Some dogs which have died appear to have taken their items with them to the afterlife. As you know, this should not be happening, as all items are supposed to be returned safely into your care upon the passing of your dog. We're still isolating what is causing this, so bear with us. If you have lost a dog and suspect that its items were not returned to you, please submit an issue to the issue hub and be sure to include the ID of the dog in question! We will be able to check and return items to you manually.

It also seems that we are experiencing an image cache problem. You may run across something alerting you to a fatal error. Don't be alarmed! We're working on this and hope to have it fixed soon.

Again, we want to thank you all for your patience and continued support as we iron out the last few kinks on the new server. Hopefully, everything will be back to normal soon!

Also, we've been hearing that there is some interest in the 2011 New Year's Items. We've decided that the rare item claim would be more fun for you this year, but we are happy to add any items you want to see from last year to the Monthly Shop for a very limited time so that you may claim what you missed last year.

Do you want some items from last year's New Year Claim? Here's the drill: just comment in this news post with the item that you would like to buy from last year's New Year claim and we'll add it to the shop! We'll probably only be doing this for around 24 hours, so please pick up your items quickly!

As for bugs, many of you have reported that you're still experiencing issues with the cron jobs, such as dogs not properly gaining hunger/health/energy, and item effects also being affected. We are having someone help us out today to iron out whatever's causing this bug, and hopefully by tomorrow's roll-over we'll have it all smoothed over.
