I got my lnch and went to the detention room as always.Tardy this time.I usually ate with the other deliquents but I didn't Sit with them and whisper I ate in solitude and watched the bell tick along slowly.Finally the bell rang I raced out and saw the girl from the barn walking with a guy he saw usually at school concerts.I avoided them and ran to my science class quickly.

"Yeah."When I heard he was in AP history to I perked up my tail twitched excitedly and I knew he was happy.History was the only AP class I took.Math I really sucked at Spanish I completely fail at and Science isn't really my thing but art and history was I was glad that I had someone I knew in that class.

"Really? I'm in AP History next bell too." I was excited that I had someone I knew in a class. I felt my ears perk up under my hat in happiness, I didn't bother forcing them down since Chloe already knew what I was and no one else would notice on thier way to class.<br />"We should get going to class before the bell rings."

I smiled at him.Its been real nice to hang out with someone who gets me someone who won't run away.<br />"Okay."The bell rang just then I hadn't eaten lunch but could get something to eat at the house.<br />"Um I guess I have to be off I have-"I pulled out my schedule and looked at it.<br />"Um AP history to get to."

I thought over her offer "I think I have big band practice but I was going to blow it off anyway, so yeah, I'm free. I'll go out with you... er, take Cacciatore out with you." I blushed, I was never very good with words.

I laughed at what Olive said.<br />"Yeah I haven't had the best day.The only great thing about today is that I don't have homework or gym."Of course gym didn't matter I rode a horse so I had to be in shape for that.I haven't had the best life anyway.I moved around and had little friends all my friends ran away because of my "problem" as I referred to it now.They only solid friend in my life was my horse who helped me alot when my parents died.<br />"Hey what are you doing after school?Since I got no homework I'm gonna go take my horse Cacciatore out.Wanna come with?"I asked hopeful.

"hey" I noticed Chloe was looking a bit worn down. "I would ask how've you been but it looks like you haven't had the best day today."<br />I felt bad for her, a new school and being able to hide that she's a half breed is tough. When I was younger my parents had to move around alot because it was hard for me to hide what I was. After elementary school in 4 different places I finally got the clue that I was so much different than the other kids in my class. After I got out of the junior high, my parents said they we're going on an anniversary trip and never came back. i was forced to live with my aunt until she found out what I was and kicked my out.

I got my lunch and was almost about to sit down when I saw the guy from the barn.My breath caught in my throat as I realized I had art with him to.I quickly raced away.I looked around for any sign of Olive but couldn't find him.Then I saw him walking towards me.<br />"Hey."

I ate my lunch in solitude for the most part, sometimes with band friends but mostly alone. I noticed Chloe walking alone and looking lonely. I decided to approach her to see how she's been doing today.

I ran away from the barn before the others and still misseed the bus.Well who cares if I miss math.I thought to myself.I walked to school and got there in time for my art lesson.I sucked at art but I wasn't about to do band anytime soon.I sat at the back of the class as usual.Only this time the girl from the barn,Chloe as she was introduced came in and sat in an empty seat.From the whole lesson my tail twitched because she smelled like a predator not an average domestic cat but a wild animal.Plus the fact that I'd seen her with a tiger tail gave me reason to worry about become lunch.The bell rang for lunch.I raced out towards the cafeteria.
