I went through the school day miserably. The stares of students followed me everywhere I went.I was forced to tell my life story to a class of strangers every time the bell rang. Then finally before lunch I had an art class.I was alway good art I wasn't sure way but art saved me from my mind sometimes which was a good thing. After an hour in art the lunch bell rang.Great Lunch. That's probably the most painful part of the day.I hadn't see Olive at all today so I made my way to the cafetriea alone.
After stopping by my locker I head toward my first class: An AP Calculus class full of know-it-alls and snobs. I was almost surprised I was in the class myself, but I guess numbers and figures came naturally to me.
I went through my day like any other school day: dismal and with little contact toward people until band class right before the lunch bell. It was hard to talk to the other people in my classes. Most of them were from rich families and had parents who forced them to take AP classes; I took them because I like to be challenged.
Finally, band. Like an oasis, it saved me from the dreary atmosphere contained in the classrooms, built up by panicky students over tests and homework and studying. The soft ballads and tour-de-force marches, spicy sambas and swingy jazz sent my mind into peaceful places where I could shed the layers of dread that was built up over the last couple of hours. I could wail on the sax all I wanted. Being first chair gave me the advantage of standing out and having solos and top parts; I was king atop the band pyramid.
When the bell rang for lunch and the end of band, the tower under me had collapsed and I was back to a daily grind of classes. It's not that I didn't have any friends, I just didn't have any in my classes; the only time I could see them was band and I always despised the ring of the bell like a mortal enemy.
The bus stopped. And once the doors had opened Olive rushed out.I ran after him.
"Hey!Wiat-"I stopped mid-sentence.He was gone.I made my way through the crowd of students to the front office.I walked in and found a small lady sitting behind the counter on a computer. She didn't look up from the screen as I approached the desk.
"Umm.Hell?"I said. She jumped and turned stern but that look melted.
"Oh you must be Chloe Frost."The lady said. She got up and bustled around her desk searching. She found slips of paper and set them on the counter in front of me.
"This is your school map and class schedule plus a slip that I want all your teachers to sign then bring it back at the end of the day plus a your locker combination."She said smiling.I nodded and walked out.Oh the first day at a new school. Two words about it.It sucks!I walked around the school trying to find my classes.I walked a little ways and found the lockers.I searched up and down the rows for Locker #316 and found it.I opened the lock and found all my class books in it.I got out my class list and looked at it.
"Great Math first."I whispered to myself.I shoved my math book into my bag and headed to building #4.
I shrugged her off and sat back in my seat. I looked at the mass rows of crops and the rising sun.
After a while, the bus arrived at school. I got off and made a bee line to my band locker to drop off my sax and books.
I jumped once I sat down in my seat.
"Fancy seeing you hear."Olive said.
"What only thought I hung around the barn?"I teased.I smiled and looked out the window.Fields of crops surrounded the bus.I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.I hadn't been inschool for about 2 weeks.
I was in the back of the bus minding my own business and looking out the window. I was disrupted by a burst of laughter. I looked in the aisle of the bus and see Chloe on the floor then rush to the seat in front of me.
I bend over her seat "Fancy seeing you here."
I left the barn with Terry before Olive woke up.I noticed a guy run away from the barn I looked after him and frowned. The rising sun told me to get going before the bus came.

I grabbed my bag scratched Terry and ran out the door. The bus was almost leaving.
"Wait!"I yelled after it I ran and caught the bus just in time.I saw the front was full but the back wasn't I bit my lip and walked to the back.I don't know who's foot it was but I tripped and fell.I caught myself on the seat before I took a faceplant to the floor. The bus errupted in laughter.I half ran to an empty seat at the back of the bus.
I see the fox run off and notice the sun is rising soon.
I go to the kennel and grab my bag and sax for school then rush to the nearest bus stop.
I saw the bus come around the corner as the sun was at the horizon. I got on, fixing my hat before getting to the first step.
The dog got up and walked towards me.I froze.Probably do me in since I'm half fox.I looked at the horses in the barn all seemed agitated with me around them but at least they only sniggered at me the girl got bucks and distressed whinnying all except one and I'm guessing that that one was hers.Their sences must be all outta wack I thought to myself. The sun was rising and with it school. It was almost time to get up and get ready to catch the bus and I needed to leave now if I had any chance of catching the local bus.I looked at the girl one more time and made a dash for it before the dog sees me and attacks.
After a while, I got up and decided to eat the food that Chloe had left me. It settled my growling stomach. I still smelled the smell of fox and being the average dog, wanted to chase it.
My claws click clacked against the wood floors as I left the barn to find and pursue any small furry creature that entered my line of sight.
