Poll Discussion: Capped Dogs
Please remember if you cannot use respectful language, your post will be edited and you will be written up.
Before you speak here, please be sure to read the news post on 7Aug2013.
We're looking for honest opinions about the options in the polls, and are specifically looking to hear what people with over the capped dogs prefer as their choice.
Edit: Please remember there is no "Just don't do this" option. We will be changing things regarding the Aviator caps, so come up with a solution that isn't one we listed. But please don't just say "Don't do this" as we will not be considering that.
Edit 2: In accordance with admin discussion: Aviator caps will no longer be stackable no matter what, this is not up for debate, but the solution for over the cap dogs is what we are discussing here.
Alright, thank you ZJ!

To those who voted #1...I really want to know why they did vote that option. What difference would it make if TP was played with ? The puppies would go back down to the cap, and breeding capped dogs to each other...would also be capped puppies. Or maybe that's just my thinking.

I still side by my idea of limiting the amount of caps on a dog so aviator caps CAN still be stacked on dogs that aren't capped dogs. I've stated before that not everyone uses the caps for capped dogs, but on customs or foundies for breeding.
I'll really stand by any idea if no one loses anything major.

No matter what Nelly, we will seriously consider the ideas here and potentially hold a second poll once we get a few defined other choices.

Kaitie's suggestions are nice.

I wish we could retract our poll vote because I voted for option #2, but now want to vote for #3.

I get the trialing part with OTC dogs...but why shouldn't they be able to be sold ? That doesn't really make sense.

I am sorry to hear that Loreebee.

For the players who do plan on staying, what are the options you like for our solution to over the capped dogs?

Do you like any of the previous options offered by people like Ravette, Kalid, or Crevan?

That is truly a pity. Then there is no reason for me to play the game.

I am not interested in trialing, new system or not.

I am interested in breeding, and seeing the lowest generation I could reach the cap.

Since that rug has been pulled out, this is my last post, and my last visit to the site.

Rain will take over my account, if she chooses to stay.
AmandaRose, do you realize how long it takes, even with stacked caps, for you to reach that? It's an insane goal and it's fun to try to reach. Besides, nothing's stopping anybody from acheiving OTC dogs.

I am guessing if you have tons of caps on a dog then the dog can easily reach the cap limit and there will be tons of capped dogs.
That's just my guess.

Loreebee - Because this thread is about discussing what to do with the over the capped dogs. This thread is to determine what we will be doing with them, furthermore the decision to not allow caps as stackable is an already implemented change that we will not reverse for the good of the site.

I am sorry if you feel that this destroys the fun of the game for you, I can only suggest you await the new trialing system and see if you feel differently.
