Poll Discussion: Capped Dogs
Please remember if you cannot use respectful language, your post will be edited and you will be written up.
Before you speak here, please be sure to read the news post on 7Aug2013.
We're looking for honest opinions about the options in the polls, and are specifically looking to hear what people with over the capped dogs prefer as their choice.
Edit: Please remember there is no "Just don't do this" option. We will be changing things regarding the Aviator caps, so come up with a solution that isn't one we listed. But please don't just say "Don't do this" as we will not be considering that.
Edit 2: In accordance with admin discussion: Aviator caps will no longer be stackable no matter what, this is not up for debate, but the solution for over the cap dogs is what we are discussing here.
I do not think options 1 and 2 are very fair to those who have spent money (virtual and real!) and time training OTC dogs. <br /> <br /> MizzMalfoy has a very good point. What will happen to TP-boosters such as Spring Fawns on capped and OTC dogs. I spent good USD to get my Spring Fawn, knowing she would be useful someday, and that's how I got my dogs over the cap to do better in trials, by sticking my fawn on her. <br /> <br /> And honestly, I don't really see the big deal with TP boosters. The big deal is with the cap itself.

As someone who has purchased Soldier Helmets, Aviator Caps, and MWB for my OTC dog, I am pretty bummed out by this change, but I understand it entirely.<br /> I'm kind of leaning towards the first option on the poll because the second option would render the dogs that we spent so much money and bones on, entirely useless.

I use my AviCap on my customs, it gives a little boost to my pups without the need for chances or perks so i would prefer them to still be able to train past maxing.<br /> <br /> Just personal opinion though. ^^

I have a few questions. How will other items like Spring Fawns, Prairie Dogs, and Soldier Helmets be affected? Will dogs who have used these items have their TP reverted to cap?<br /> And how will trialing affect TP and stats? Will it still give boosts and how will these boosts be affected by the changes?

Having an over capped dog is fun challenge to train. Many people spent lots of money, time and effort in those dogs so I think the TP status should remain the same. As for the caps I am torn, they are really helpful training high TP dogs especially once you ran out of TS the caps still train them maybe place a new code on them preventing training after the dog is maxed? I think that's part of the problem people keep the caps on capped dogs to help higher stats which eventually highers their TP.

<b>New Idea for How Aviator Caps Could Work</b><br /> <br /> Caps should still be stackable, however, once you max a skill out, the cap can no longer train on that skill. This would cause it to be a more useful tool for training for those that bought a ton of them. I also suggest a small boost to the TP given. Instead of .2 every 4hrs, how about .3-.5 every 4hrs? <br /> <br /> Just an idea on how caps could function after this change =)

Well, many people have worked very hard to breed their dogs to perfection, which is over the cap. Many people would be disappointed to lose all their hard work they put into breeding and training their dogs. But I just think that Aviator Caps should not be allowed to be stacked.

TP should be unaffected.<br /> I bet members have spent hard earned bones, cash, and USD for bones/items for aviator caps, MWBs, etc. It'd be a shame if those went to waste.

i think that the dogs should go to the normal capped limit of the dog, I'm sorry if i offended anyone by saying this but this is my opinion
