First off, I've placed an order for new servers last week, they should be in and we will officially moving onto a distributed system!
Second, I've begun work on a 'single page application',
This means you will be able to navigate aronud without the entire page reloading. ( ahem chat!)
This is going to be an ongoing process. As such I have left it as a simple link on under the welcome back panel.
It isnt enabled by default. We're still testing it, and if you encounter a problem, you can reload the page, and Alacrity will behave as normal.
Not every link has been setup yet, so certain places will break the process and you will need to re-enable it. This as been done on purpose while we make sure its fully tested.
Last, the games system is in the process of being reworked, and hopefully, I can get it ready for the 4th!

We have some new items coming, and we have a new breed, the scottie!
And we have new 4th of july coats for existing dogs!
1/ Two player games now pay out a 25% award on first place.
previously this was stated as "25% reward, but no placing bonus" which was technically correct but meaningless, since no placing payouts occurred!
now it pays 1st place.
2/ The payout structure for trials will be changing with the summer event. I dont know what that new structure is, only that it will change. I'm loathe to make changes to the overall structure of the game until I feel comfortable with how the in game economy will work, so expect the changes to be minor.
3/ classic trials AND the obstacle course (aka easter event) will be getting a fresh coat of paint.
classic trials will be redone as a 'live event' (like how the dog page updates)
Hopefully (fingers crossed!) I'll be able to re do summer event to show a map and dog movement on it. This may be a bit of a challenge to do in the time frame a lotted. and I may just settle on improving the mechanics of the obstacle course
