"Sha's gone and Cobalt and Frappe have vanished," Dinah informed her worriedly. "I can smell Sha though."
She lent her nose to the effort, and within minutes Sha came into sight.

"About time," he sighed. He pointed toward the hole. "The pup is unconscious down there."

Meanwhile, back at the ranch [I had to] Cobalt was still stumped. "I... I've never smelled anything like this place, Frappe. It smells nothing like where we were, and I don't remember when it changed." He poked a tree with his nose and it hissed and shrank back from him. "What the--"
Kendra awoke when Sheena moved and noticed the water forgetting that there must be something going on for a second she licked some up and sniffed it. Kineta must have brought it for her and Sheena.. Wait where was Sheena? Kendra spotted her tracking something almost out of sight so she troted slowly off to follow her. Once she caught up she asked, "what on earth is going on??" She yawned she hadn't heard Dinah's paniced barks and was confused and tired.
Sheena's eyes shot open at the shocking and nervous voice of Dinah. "What happened" she said as she took a few licks at the water that appeared in front of her and Kendra while they were sleeping. She nudged the water closer to Kendra and stretched quick. "I can smell Sha's scent coming for a few places. Maybe they went to the same place." She started tracking Sha's scent. It was slower than normal since she just woke up.
frappe slowly walked behind Cobalt, she could see, but her eyes were stinging. "Cobalt, where are we? Well, actually, I know that we are kinda already in the middle of nowhere, but where are we NOW?" Frappe tried to sttle the unesiness that began to creep up to her mind. 'where was everyone? why couldn't she smell them? where did Cobalt bring her to?' Thoughts raced through her mind as she surveyed the new area.

Meanwhile, Rolo joined her mother in worry. It seemed like she had slept for an eternity and the world was moving too fast. She placed her head on the ground and listened as Dinah spoke.
"What was that?" Sha murmured.
"What?" Dinah growled, not opening her eyes.

"I heard a scream."

"I didn't."

Sha huffed with annoyance and struggled to his feet, taking off into the woods in the direction the stupid puppy had gone. Of course she was in trouble. Of course no one knew it but him. Of course.

Meanwhile, Cobalt was completely lost. He remembered Kineta running past him twice, never bothering to stop, and he remembered barking to tell Frappe what direction he'd gone and hearing an answering bark that told him she was headed his way, but then he'd veered off course somehow. He hadn't found the stream, and he couldn't see the road. His head hurt....

Sha wasn't the brightest or the best trialer, but there was nothing wrong with his nose. He tracked the stupid puppy easily enough, grumbling about useless companions the whole time. When he got to the edge of the hole, he barely avoided falling in. With an angry sigh that hurt his ribs, Sha sank down and settled in to wait to see how long it would take anyone to notice there was trouble.

Cobalt stumbled and decided it would be best to just sit down for now. He knew he hadn't gone far, and he thought he'd gone in the direction of the road after failing to find water. The problem was, this looked exactly like the place where the road should be, but it wasn't there. Worse, he couldn't smell his companions anymore. In fact, nothing smelled the same.

Dinah woke up disoriented, realizing several things: 1) Sha was gone, 2) She couldn't hear Kineta or Frappe, and 3) She couldn't sense Cobalt *at all.* "Kendra! Sheena! Dusk, wake up! Something's wrong."
Kendra watched all the excitement and sighed she was so tired... she went and laid down by Sheena and fell asleep.

Kineta continued to flash around the forest until she found what she was looking for! A creek she found a creek! She had found it! She barked excitedly to let everyone know she had found something then started to run back towards everyone. She spoted Cobalt and Frappe and noted the smell. "What did you guys get into?" She giggled because she knew it was a skunk, she had tried to play with one of those before...
When she got in the view of Kendra and sheena noticing they were sound asleep. She stopped and thought... then troted back running past Cobalt and Frappe again. Once she reached the creek again she found a large piece of bark with a bit of a dip in the middle. "Perfect!" She grabbed it in her mouth and went down the creek to fill it with some water, it didn't hold a lot but.. she could always go back and forth for Kendra and Sheena. She slowly and carefully walked past her smelly friends for a third time as they headed towards the creek.
When she reached Kendra and Sheena she set down the bark in front of them. They would find it when they woke up. She thought outloud quietly, "hmmm what else can I do to help out... Oh! I could go see if there are any fish in the creek! She then started to bounce her silly way back to the creek and her smelly friends. But wait... what was that? Shiney? Something in that tree just sparkled! She dashed off towards towards the tree not watching where she was placing her paws....
Suddenly Kineta realized her paws weren't touching the ground! She was falling! She looked down and barked out in terror, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!" After falling about 12 feet she landed with a loud thud on her side she looked around with one eye, the other hurting too much to open even weakly.. She could see she was trapped..almost in a pit... but she couldn't see the one wall.. if there was a wall at all... Why is there a pit? She wondered faintly before letting the darkness take over her mind as she passed out.
"Uhhh... water. We should find water. Or something." Cobalt stood up, shook his head to clear it and moved downhill, trying to locate the source of the water he'd been hearing. Water would help a little bit-- it would clear Frappe's eyes, at least. He caught a flash of Kineta darting between the trees and bolted after her, hoping she could find a stream. "Come on, Frappe!"
Sheena had found nothing on her little search for water. She hoped that the others came up with something. She wandered back and noticed Frappe and Cobalt still struggling from their encounter with a skunk but she knew that there was nothing she could do to help them. She sat down and took a nap.
Frappe turned her head around and could barely make out the shape that was the male aussie. "I dink I can." She placed a paw onto his head to confirm it was indeed Cobalt. "Okay, I can see you. Dis Dinks. I cand believe dis habbened"
"I'm right behind you," Cobalt wheezed. His nose was burning but he'd avoided the worst of it and could still see. "Uhh... can you hear me?"
