When the earth was created, there was no set time for a day before the light/darkness was separated. Who knows; the 'day' could have been millions of years, since there was no such thing as a 'day' then.
That didn't refute my point. According to the Bible's record of creation, light/darkness were separated on the first 'day'. On the fourth the sun and stars were made visible and used to mark the change of seasons, days, etc. Living creatures were created on the fifth and sixth days, at which point 'days' were around.

If you follow the Bible back, Adam was born no more than 8000 years ago, and that is a stretch. We have fossils of hominids/hominins who are older than that, not even touching on dinosaurs (who were apparently created the same day as man).

Then may I ask why 'other primates' hasn't 'evolved' into 'humans' yet?

Evolution isn't caused by time, as such. It's caused by necessity and natural selection - conditions change, and species adapt. Species that can't adapt die out. For instance, because the ape ancestor of humans lived on the plains/savannahs of Africa, those who could see further (by standing upright) were more likely to avoid danger, and thus survived to pass on their genes. Each successive generation is improved.

Chimpanzees and bonobos, for instance, live in rainforests. Walking upright would have no benefit for them, as they can't see much anyway through dense vegetation. For them, it's safer to be in trees. They had no need to start walking upright, so individuals with that trait were no more successful than any other.

There were other species of 'hominids', much like humans. They are all extinct. Nothing else could evolve into humans, because they are a different species (you might as well ask why lions haven't evolved into tigers), but they were close enough.

For instance, I'm sure you've heard of the Neanderthals. They were significantly different to modern humans, and they evolved to adapt to the cold climate of Europe. They are extinct, and it's commonly thought it's because Homo Sapiens (that's us) moved in on their territory, or because they couldn't cope with the changing climate.

When Creation can offer me some evidence other than the Bible, I will reconsider. But the Bible is one source, and it's not in anyway credible, in my eyes.
"I've never seen 'solid proof' for evoltion. =/"

Maybe it isn't "solid", which would be something saying evolution is absolutely right. But it has a lot more proof than creationism. Evolution is believed and supported by all major science, is constantly gaining new information and has some evidence. I shouldn't have said proof, because there will never be any proof for either. But with evolution, there is EVIDENCE. The ONLY evidence for creationism is the Bible. Which is honestly not a credible source.

Like my history teacher said earlier, this is something that people will be fighting over forever. But in my opinion, there will always be more evidence for evolution. Because people aren't researching creationism, because there is nothing to research.

"In the bible, Jesus ordered his disciples to spread the good news to all. Like I said above, we're helping them through evangelism."

...So, by "spreading the good news", you deserve a great life? And just because these people don't have access to media and technology to learn about Christianity otherwise, they don't? I want to know how this makes sense. I would PM you to continue this so we don't get too far off topic, but I was posting anyways, so...*shrugs*

Also, where is the good news with people who say if you don't believe in Jesus you burn in hell? That's the biggest thing that puts me off Christianity for my own beliefs because so many people tell me this.

"Then may I ask why 'other primates' hasn't 'evolved' into 'humans' yet? Sure, you can say that species can change their gene pool through causes of various speciations, but does it have that much of an effect to have 'primates evolve into humans'? If time is your answer, then time should have also affected the 'other primates'."

Because other primates have their own niches and their own societies. The human species branched off of these primate species, just like howler monkeys branched off from spider monkeys. Because nature is diverse, so things branch off. Animals that had a certain adaptation passed that on to their children, and in enough generations, they would become their own species. Branched off from the original species due to adaptation.

"Hm. So your proposing that all living organisms with scaly legs are descended from dinosaurs?"

Not all, but most are, actually. Reptiles obviously descended from dinosaurs, because...well, dinosaurs were just giant lizards, right? So, reptiles have descended from them. Especially things think crocodiles, which were around with the dinosaurs and have existed since that time. Birds are much further down the family tree, but are still related to dinosaurs.

"I believe evolution is as real as pokemon. :3 "

And I believe creationism is as real as Spyro the dragon.:3
I don't get why they can't coexist. O_o I mean, if god (God?) was powerful enough to create everything we see, then why couldn't he be powerful enough to create evolution?

Personally, I believe that evolution is the momst valid explanation, but I'm also perfectly willing to believe that it's fueled or directed by some sort of deity. (And if it matters to anyone, I'm a theistic agnostic- I neither believe nor disbelieve in any deities, because I think there's no way for us to know for certain.)
Even from a young age, and I did go to church once a week and prayed constantly, I realized that if there was a god, he must be a selfish, insane, sadist. (No offense meant, just personal opinion) As someone else said, he values A's more than lives, and his will/plan seemed completely random and without aim. When I asked the people at church why things happened, all I ever got were vague statements that god willed things to be that way. However, national geographic, discovery, and many others provided detailed explanations of why and how. Chemical reactions resulting in RNA, leading to living, mutating, evolving things made much more sense to me than a guy you cant be sure exists, waving his massive hands, and mysteriously creating everything from nothing. (I have tried this, it doesn't work X3.) I kind of have to go with the brand that has the ingredients and nutritional info on the box.

I'm a atheist so I guess you know what I'mma voting for
"Creationism was a good explanation for what we didn't understand 6000 years ago, but we know better now. Until I'm given solid proof, I'll continue to believe Creationism, and the Bible in general, is an extremely well written piece of fiction." Exactly. :)
I believe in evolution, because creation makes absolutely no sense in my mind.
