"yet little to none to back up creationism"

proof there isn't a god then. where is the scientific proof in that? im with kitten and what she believes, it simply makes more sence to me.

I could go as far to say that evolution is not a theory, but a proven scientific fact.

it is a fact. theres lots of proof that there is.
"All that said, I'm a member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. "

LMAO
That serously made my day.
Him and his godly noodliness. xD
There is so much proof backing up the evolotion theory, yet little to none to back up creationism. The fossil record in my book is plenty of proof. I could go as far to say that evolution is not a theory, but a proven scientific fact.

Sorry, but to me believing in creationism (and in my own opinion, this includes god) is like believing in Unicorns and fairies.

I respect people's opinions, believe in whatever floats your boat. (: There's nothing wrong with not believing , or believing in certain things.

People often say, "Well, someone had to make this world..", therfore they believe god made this world, or even the big bang. I say that life had to start somewhere. What makes you think god had anything to do with creating the universe? The fact that we are standing here? Well, who made god then?
What am trying to say is that everything starts somewhere, you can go on and on, on who made what, and what made what.

I apologize, Shay. Was I being rude? :(

"But there's nothing saying that god couldn't have had a hand in that either."
Yes there is, it all happened because of gravitational pull and whatnot.
Cuddles, I think your view is fine.

Who says there is insanity in thinking there is a higher power who had influence into the universe's beginning? There's nothing wrong with that.

Obviously if you believe in evolution, you're aware of how the earth came about with things hitting while the sun was still young and so on. But there's nothing saying that god couldn't have had a hand in that either.

The irony of me saying all this is I don't believe in god and I'm not christian. But I'm not about to condemn someone for choosing to believe both in a god and science. I think it's a fantastic thing and we should support being about to balance fact with beliefs we cannot prove but like to believe in.
Evolution, as I don't have a religion and it just seems to make a great amount of sense.
XD True, I believe it both ways but scientifically is much more reasonable and much more likely. :)
I don't mean to sound insulting, but this: "I believe that the building blocks of the Earth was made by God (I'm a Christian). But I also believe later on everything evolved to how it is right now. "

to me, sounds like "I can't understand why ___ happened, so I will think of a way that I could believe.. like the earth just poofed into existence"
